Known for representing major builders and developers, the firm offers a fast-paced, high-volume environment supported by streamlined systems and well-established procedures—allowing you to step in and make an immediate impact with minimal ramp-up time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient professional who values both independence and team collaboration. You’ll manage a monthly volume of approximately 30 files, comprising a mix of new home purchases and residential lot transactions. While residential conveyancing is the primary focus, experience in commercial files will be viewed as a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end conveyancing process for residential developments, including presales, purchases, and title transfers.
  • Draft, review, and finalize documentation for purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
  • Perform title, tax, and corporate searches; proactively identify and resolve title defects; ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, realtors, builders, and legal partners.
  • Manage all aspects of closings, including payouts, registrations, and final reporting.
  • Maintain meticulous file records, track critical dates, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Administer trust transactions and oversee all related registrations.
  • Deliver outstanding client service at every stage of the transaction.
  • Contribute to team workflow by assisting colleagues during peak periods to maintain balance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in residential real estate conveyancing.
  • Background in builder/developer files is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing procedures, title transfers, and builder agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously—ready to contribute from day one.
  • Superior organizational skills with an unwavering eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at prioritizing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team structure.
  • Hands-on experience with title searches and defect resolution.
  • Commercial conveyancing experience is a strong asset.

Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with the following platforms is preferred (but not mandatory):

  • Unity
  • Lawyer Done Deal
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • SharePoint

Why Join the Firm?

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $85,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package: 100% coverage for medical, prescription, and dental (with orthodontic caps), plus long-term disability and life insurance.
  • Complimentary access to the building’s state-of-the-art fitness facility.
  • Consistent Monday–Friday schedule with a 35-hour work week (flexible start times available; core hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
  • One-hour lunch break to recharge.
  • Join a stable, expanding practice offering long-term career growth and development.
