What you’ll do

As our Senior Web Content Writer, you’ll create original articles, product pages, cost guides and FAQs that explain insurance in clear language, help consumers better understand their coverage options and guide them toward getting an insurance quote or connecting with an insurance broker.

You’ll use your knack for storytelling alongside strong editorial judgment, research skills and a thoughtful approach to SEO to create a high volume of new content,
while also updating and improving existing online materials to ensure accuracy and strengthen performance.

You’ll collaborate with our brokers to learn the ins and outs of different coverages, and interview subject matter experts, industry partners and clients to create a wide variety of content that helps people learn more about and feel confident with their insurance choices.

You’ll also partner with our SEO team to identify opportunities, understand search intent, strengthen page structure and internal linking, and improve organic performance.

Your qualifications

  • At least five years of professional experience writing and editing website content, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong writing and the ability to create original, engaging work
  • Strong research and critical thinking skills, including the ability to evaluate sources, verify information and develop original content that explains complex topics clearly using simple language
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy publishing schedule, balance multiple priorities, incorporate feedback and collaborate effectively with different teams
  • Insurance experience is an asset but not required

Where you’ll work is up to you
We believe in offering a flexible work environment that allows you to decide where you work best. Whether you prefer to be in our Durham Region office or work remotely from anywhere in Canada, the choice is entirely yours.

Compensation
$75,000 - $100,000 annually
