This is a full time, in person Paid Internship role, from the beginning of May 2027 to the end of August 2027.

What you bring

  • Enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program from an accredited institution
  • Valid driver's license (or the ability to secure one) with ability to travel to client sites
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software applications
  • Physical capability to lift and push up to 50 lb.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and extended shifts
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Adaptability to outdoor working conditions in all weather

Great-to-haves (but not necessary)

  • Previous experience working with cattle in feedlot, dairy, or cow/calf operations
  • Understanding of agricultural production systems and animal welfare practices
  • Background in data analytics or research methodology

If you're passionate about animal welfare, comfortable with both clinical and technical responsibilities, and ready to make a meaningful impact in agricultural innovation, we want to hear from you.

Join our high-performance culture at TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods, where you'll find a personally fulfilling, professionally challenging, and financially rewarding career opportunity in the dynamic field of cattle health and production.
