- Define architectural requirements for system resilience, availability, recoverability, redundancy, and continuity of operations.
- Support security assessments, design reviews, accreditation activities, and remediation planning.
- Ensure that sensitive operational and customer information is handled in accordance with applicable program and organizational requirements.
- Define deployment architecture for applicable cloud, on-premises, edge, and hybrid environments.
- Establish architectural requirements for containerization, Kubernetes, configuration management, CI/CD, observability, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, Network Operations, and support teams to ensure that the solution is deployable, supportable, and maintainable.
- Define production monitoring, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and support requirements.
- Support capacity planning, performance engineering, release planning, and production-readiness reviews.
- Support CONOPS development, requirements analysis, architecture documentation, program planning, and technical baselining.
- Participate in PI planning, milestone planning, design reviews, CDRs, customer reviews, and technical working groups.
- Provide architecture input to scope, estimates, sequencing, staffing, and delivery commitments.
- Present architecture status, decisions, risks, and recommendations to technical and program leadership.
