You'll work closely with transitioning advisors and internal teams to ensure continuity of service while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

In this role, you'll provide personalized investment guidance, develop comprehensive financial plans, and manage long-term client relationships. You'll also collaborate with investment, portfolio services, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and contribute to the continued growth and development of the wealth management platform.

What's in it for You

  • Competitive salary of $100K–$140K plus performance-based incentives.

  • Remote-based work arrangement with flexibility, alongside in-person client meetings and regional travel as required.

  • Opportunity to manage an established client portfolio rather than build a book of business from scratch.

  • More predictable compensation and greater work-life balance compared to traditional business-development-focused advisory roles.

  • Employer-funded RRSP contributions and profit-sharing opportunities.

  • Comprehensive health benefits, wellness allowances, and generous paid time off.

  • Professional development, tuition reimbursement, and designation support.

  • Collaborative, inclusive culture focused on employee well-being, continuous learning, and long-term career growth.

  • Opportunity to contribute to a growing wealth management business and help shape processes and client experiences.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll provide personalized investment advice and develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with clients' goals, risk tolerance, and long-term financial objectives.

  • You'll manage and strengthen relationships within an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring continuity of service and identifying opportunities to support their evolving financial needs.

  • You'll guide clients through the full advisory lifecycle, including initial discovery, onboarding, financial planning, portfolio transitions, and ongoing relationship management.

  • You'll support clients through advisor transitions, significant life events, and periods of financial uncertainty, providing reassurance, guidance, and a seamless client experience.

  • You'll conduct investment suitability assessments and recommend appropriate investment products, managed solutions, and financial planning strategies.

  • You'll proactively engage clients to educate them on investment solutions, financial planning opportunities, products, and services.

  • You'll work closely with transitioning advisors, head office, investment, operations, and project teams to support client onboarding and portfolio transitions.

  • You'll contribute feedback and ideas to improve internal processes, strengthen client experiences, and support the continued growth of the wealth management business.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or investment advisory roles, ideally as a Wealth Advisor, Associate Advisor, Senior Associate Advisor, or similar.

  • Registered Representative (RR) securities registration is required, along with the ability to trade mutual funds and securities.

  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and compliance with applicable CIRO proficiency requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment products, portfolio management, and holistic financial planning strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience managing the full client lifecycle, including discovery, onboarding, financial planning, portfolio transitions, and ongoing servicing.

  • Proven ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships and guide clients through periods of change or uncertainty.

  • Experience using financial planning software, conducting investment suitability assessments, and recommending appropriate investment solutions.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and consultative advisory skills, with a warm, polished, and approachable communication style.

  • Positive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to contribute ideas and support evolving business processes.

  • CFP, PFP, CIM, CFA Level 1, or LLQP qualifications are considered assets. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to obtain their LLQP designation within 12 months, where applicable.
