Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We exist to make food the world loves. But we do more than that. Our company is a place that prioritizes being a force for good, a place to expand learning, explore new perspectives and reimagine new possibilities, every day. We look for people who want to bring their best — bold thinkers with big hearts who challenge one another and grow together. Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next.

We're seeking a driven and resourceful Associate Brand Manager to join our Snacks team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a significant portion of our Canadian snacks business, focusing on channel growth and category expansion. You'll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, launching innovative products, and driving growth within the Canadian market.

As an Associate Brand Manager, you will be a key player in driving the growth of our snacks portfolio through strategic channel management and category expansion initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our snack offerings in Canada, with a focus on bringing exciting new products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel and Category Expansion: Drive growth within key channels and identify opportunities to expand our snacks portfolio into new and exciting categories.

  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation, development, and commercialization of new snack products, from initial concept to launch.

  • Analytical Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer data, and financial performance to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations. Leverage US data and historical trends to inform strategies for new product launches.

  • Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop strategies to maximize sales and distribution.

  • Financial Management: Support budget management and analyze product-level P&L to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Strategy Execution: Execute brand strategies and 12Q plans, including innovation, brand renovation, and packaging design, to achieve financial and volume targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with US counterparts to inform long-term brand strategy and execute shared projects.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of experience in CPG, food & beverage, or a related industry. MBA a plus.

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Resourceful and independent worker with a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization.

  • Understanding of P&L mechanics and budget management.

  • A passion for the snacks category and a desire to bring innovative products to market.
