  • Oversee daily investment accounting and portfolio monitoring activities, including validation of investment book of record (IBOR), sub-ledger and accounting book of record (ABOR) data, transaction records and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Investment, Finance, Legal and Risk teams to support investment closings, including documentation reviews, system setups, transaction processing, settlements and appropriate authorizations.
  • Support complex investment transactions, assessing their impact on accounting, financial reporting and investment performance across relevant asset classes.
  • Review financial statements, note disclosures and management reports for accuracy and completeness, providing meaningful analysis and commentary.
  • Support monthly and quarterly valuation reviews, validate valuation adjustments, investigate inconsistencies and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal investment teams and external asset managers to resolve operational issues, strengthen reporting controls, document processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional designation such as Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Knowledge of Murex and/or SimCorp systems is considered an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to investigate financial discrepancies, support accurate reporting and identify process improvements.

You are motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself, approach complex challenges with rigor, and hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
