Job description

Company Description

We're Entain. Our vision is to be the world leader in sports betting and gaming entertainment by creating the most exciting and trusted experience for our customers, revolutionizing the gambling space as we go. We're home to a global family of more than 25 well-known brands, and with a focus on sustainability and growth, we will transform our sector for our players, for ourselves and for the good of entertainment.

Job Description

The Role

As Canada Casino Manager, you will take commercial ownership of the casino proposition across Entain's Canadian brands.

You will be responsible for driving casino performance across acquisition, engagement, retention, content, promotions and customer experience, ensuring that our brands offer a competitive and locally relevant casino proposition.

Working closely with the Head of Gaming, local market teams and central Entain functions, you will turn the overall Canadian casino strategy into an effective market plan - identifying opportunities, executing initiatives and using data to continuously improve performance.

This is a highly commercial and hands-on role. You will combine strong analytical thinking with an understanding of casino customers, content and promotions to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Casino Strategy & Commercial Performance

  • Own the day-to-day casino performance and commercial plan for Canada.

  • Translate the wider Canadian gaming strategy into clear casino priorities and initiatives.

  • Monitor key performance indicators including UAPs, APDs, APD/UAP, turnover, GGR, NGR, deposits, ARPU, retention and player value.

  • Identify performance opportunities and risks, developing and implementing actions to address them.

  • Work with the Head of Gaming to develop annual, quarterly and monthly casino plans.

  • Balance short-term commercial performance with sustainable player growth and long-term customer value.

  • Provide regular performance updates, insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Casino Proposition & Content

  • Own the casino content proposition across the Canadian market, ensuring the right games are available, visible and commercially competitive.

  • Work with central Gaming, suppliers and Product teams to optimise game launches, content placement and lobby performance.

  • Analyse game and supplier performance to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure the casino proposition is locally relevant to Canadian customers and differentiated across Entain's brands.

  • Support the development and launch of bespoke, exclusive and locally relevant casino content.

  • Continuously review competitor propositions and market trends to identify opportunities.

Acquisition & Cross-Sell

  • Partner with Acquisition and Sports teams to maximise casino acquisition and sportsbook-to-casino cross-sell.

  • Develop casino propositions and campaigns that support new customer acquisition.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the conversion of sportsbook customers into casino players.

  • Work with CRM and Marketing teams to ensure casino is appropriately represented across the customer journey.

  • Support the development of major commercial moments, campaigns and brand activations.

CRM, Promotions & Loyalty

  • Work closely with CRM to develop effective casino customer journeys across acquisition, activation, engagement and retention.

  • Define casino promotional priorities and ensure promotions are commercially sustainable.

  • Analyse promotional performance, bonus cost and customer behaviour to optimise future activity.

  • Develop innovative casino mechanics, campaigns and experiences that increase frequency and engagement.

  • Partner with VIP and Loyalty teams to maximise value from high-value casino customers.

  • Ensure promotional activity is aligned with responsible gambling requirements and local regulation.

Brand & Customer Experience

  • Ensure the casino proposition reflects the individual positioning and customer proposition of each Canadian brand.

  • Work with Brand, Creative and Product teams to deliver compelling casino experiences.

  • Identify opportunities to create standout customer moments across the casino journey.

  • Use customer and market insight to improve the overall casino experience.

  • Support the development of locally relevant content, partnerships and activations.

Data, Insight & Optimisation

  • Use data and customer insight to understand performance and identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of customer behaviour, product performance and game-level economics.

  • Establish clear test-and-learn approaches across casino propositions, promotions and customer journeys.

  • Evaluate initiatives based on incremental commercial impact and customer value.

  • Use dashboards, reporting and analytical tools to ensure decisions are evidence-led.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with local Canadian stakeholders and central Entain teams.

  • Work collaboratively with Sports, Product, CRM, Acquisition, VIP, Responsible Gambling, Trading, Commercial and Technology teams.

  • Manage relationships with key casino suppliers and ensure commercial opportunities are maximised.

  • Represent the Canadian casino proposition in relevant internal forums.

  • Share Canadian market insight and best practice with the wider Entain Gaming organisation.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in online casino, gaming, sportsbook or another digital gaming environment.

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with a track record of using data to drive decisions.

  • Good understanding of casino products, content, suppliers, promotions and customer behaviour.

  • Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to translate strategy into practical, measurable execution.

  • Good understanding of CRM, acquisition, retention and customer lifecycle management.

  • Comfortable working with performance data and commercial KPIs.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to performance.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-brand and regulated environment.

  • Knowledge of the Canadian gaming market would be highly advantageous.
