- Project management experience on mid- to large-scale projects; a PMP designation is a bonus
- Hands-on expertise in site grading design, drainage design (storm sewers and stormwater management), roads design, sanitary sewers design, and hydrology/hydraulics
- A thorough understanding of the design process, including proficiency with civil design software packages
- Prior design experience in bulk earthworks, site grading, storm drainage, access and haul roads, and earth structures on large-scale projects
- The ability to juggle competing priorities and manage time effectively
- A track record of leading, mentoring, and motivating junior civil engineers
- A collaborative, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills who delivers results
