Job description

About Us

At BeWell Health Centres we’re reimagining how care is delivered in Ontario - comprehensive, committed, and connected.

We believe in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Our interdisciplinary team includes psychotherapists, social workers, psychiatrists, and psychologists working collaboratively to provide evidence-informed, deeply human care.

Here, you’ll find the resources and support to do your best work - and the freedom to shape your clinical practice in a way that feels authentic to you.

We’re growing - thoughtfully - and looking for clinicians who bring expertise, curiosity, and genuine care to their work.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

We are looking for a highly motivated, personable, and sales-driven Client & Sales Specialist to join our growing mental health clinic. This is a sales-focused client care role responsible for converting inbound inquiries into booked appointments and new clients.

You will be the first point of contact for many individuals and families reaching out to our clinic and will play a critical role in helping prospective clients understand our services, overcome barriers to booking, and take the next step toward care. The successful candidate will be comfortable with providing information around mental health services, following up with leads, handling objections, and converting leads into clients – all while maintaining a warm, empathetic, and professional approach.

This role also includes calendar management, intake coordination, customer service, and general administrative responsibilities to ensure a seamless experience for both clients and clinicians.

This is an in-person role at our Mississauga or Hamilton clinic with some travel required in the GTA.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Conversion

  • Own the conversion process for all inbound leads and inquiries.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to new leads through phone, email, text, and other communication channels.

  • Clearly communicate the clinic's services, clinicians, fees, availability, and value.

  • Convert qualified leads into booked consultations, assessments, and/or appointments.

  • Proactively follow up with leads who have inquired but have not yet booked.

  • Maintain a structured follow-up process to ensure no qualified lead falls through the cracks.

  • Re-engage older, inactive, or lost leads when appropriate.

  • Track lead status, follow-up activity, bookings, and conversion outcomes in the CRM.

  • Meet established lead conversion, booking, and sales targets.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and the overall sales process.

Client Care & Intake

  • Provide an exceptional first impression and client experience from the initial inquiry.

  • Communicate with individuals, parents, couples, and families seeking mental health support.

  • Coordinate the transition from initial inquiry through booking and intake.

  • Answer questions about services, clinicians, fees, policies, and appointment options.

  • Recognize when a question or concern requires involvement from a clinician or manager and escalate appropriately.

Calendar & Appointment Management

  • Manage clinician calendars and appointment availability.

  • Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments and consultations directly with prospective and existing clients.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate lead, client, and appointment information within the clinic's systems.

  • Document lead interactions, follow-ups, outcomes, and next steps.

  • Assist with intake forms, documentation, billing-related administration, and payment collection where required.

  • Support day-to-day clinic operations and administrative tasks.

  • Prepare basic sales and operational reports as required.

  • Assist management with projects and process improvements.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is comfortable selling, loves talking to people, and is motivated by results. You are likely someone who:

  • Has a proven track record in sales, customer service, client acquisition, business development, or a similar role.

  • Comfortable making phone calls

  • Can handle objections without becoming discouraged.

  • Is motivated by measurable targets and performance metrics.

  • Builds rapport quickly and makes people feel comfortable.

  • Highly organized and able to manage a large volume of leads and follow-ups.

  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Pays close attention to detail.

  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.

  • Can effectively prioritize sales activities alongside administrative responsibilities.

  • Has strong computer skills and is comfortable learning CRM, scheduling, and other technology platforms.

Sales Experience

Previous experience in sales, inside sales, lead conversion, appointment setting, customer acquisition, healthcare sales, or a high-volume client service environment is strongly preferred.

Experience working in professional services, healthcare, wellness, mental health, or other high-consideration services is an asset.

Why Join BeWell?

  • Specialized Practice: Work with a client population you’re passionate about, within a team that gets it.

  • Collaboration & Support: Regular consultation, supervision, and team connection — you’ll never feel isolated in your work

Compensation

BeWell Health Centers offer a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be hourly compensation with benefits.
