We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to belong. For the adults we serve, barriers such as homelessness, mental health challenges, addiction, poverty, trauma, unemployment, low literacy, and involvement in the justice system can make that difficult. These challenges rarely occur in isolation, and one often makes another harder to navigate. Because life’s challenges are connected, our supports are too.

- Delivering medications and encouraging medication adherence.
- Providing crisis intervention and prevention.
- Providing eviction prevention support to participants.
- Providing supervision and support for group events such as visiting, community outings and Stella’s Pride.
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in the human services field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience especially in the areas of mental health or therapeutic recreation.
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in working with people who live with complex mental health histories would be an asset.
- First Aid and ASIST training is also required.
- Strong interpersonal skills while being able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license is required, access to a safe vehicle for work and must be insurable on the company vehicle.
