Working remotely within Canada (aligned with Pacific time zone business hours), you will make strategic design decisions across the end-to-end guest journey—from event discovery, registration, and checkout to post-event engagement across web and mobile (iOS/Android) apps. Partnering with user researchers, product managers, software developers, and third-party SaaS platform vendors, you will translate research insights and analytics into user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and scalable UI design systems.

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Full-time engagement)

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Open to candidates residing anywhere in Canada; operating on Pacific Time)

Advantages
Global Enterprise Scope: Drive the complete UX/UI redesign and replatforming of high-visibility global event, community, and retail experience channels for a top-tier brand.

100% Remote Flexibility Across Canada: Work remotely from anywhere in Canada with seamless alignment to Pacific Time business operations.

Modern Design & AI Tool Stack: Utilize cutting-edge product design workflows, incorporating Figma, Figma Make, composable front-ends, and modern AI prototyping platforms.

End-to-End Strategic Ownership: Lead the complete design lifecycle from initial user research and wireframing to stakeholder presentations, developer handoffs, and post-launch usability iterations.

Responsibilities
End-to-End UX/UI Product Design: Drive user research, information architecture, wireframing, and UI design for new event discovery pages, detail screens, registration/checkout flows, and post-event touchpoints across web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms.

SaaS & Platform Replatforming: Design cohesive, on-brand user interfaces built on top of third-party SaaS events platforms, balancing platform technical constraints with optimal user experience standards.

Design Systems & Scalable Components: Create reusable UI components and design patterns that scale globally across regional markets, multiple languages, and diverse event types.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, software engineering, and third-party vendors to validate design feasibility, refine user journeys, and oversee implementation quality.

User Research & Usability Testing: Conduct user research, audit existing system friction points, run usability tests, and leverage data analytics to make high-impact design decisions.

Stakeholder Facilitation & Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes (using Figma and AI tools) and lead design thinking workshops and presentations for steering committees and leadership teams.

Qualifications
Product Design Experience: 4+ years of professional experience across UX design and e-commerce, including 3+ years in dedicated UX/UI or digital product design roles.

Core Design & Prototyping Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma, Figma Make, Adobe Creative Cloud, and AI-assisted prototyping tools (e.g., Claude or similar generative design tools).

Platform & SaaS Constraints: Proven track record designing user-centric experiences on top of third-party SaaS platforms or composable software products while working within technical constraints.

Research & Testing Methodologies: Hands-on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating analytics into iterative design enhancements.

Portfolio Requirement: A strong portfolio demonstrating UX principles, information architecture, visual design skills, user flows, and end-to-end product design processes.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent practical knowledge and experience in a digital product/e-commerce environment.

Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
