  • Remove litter, debris, weeds, and other unwanted materials from public-facing exterior areas.

  • Monitor exterior presentation around entrances and address cleanliness concerns as needed.

  • Report landscaping concerns, damage, or hazards requiring follow-up.

Ground Support Equipment Inspections

  • Document inspection results accurately and consistently.

  • Identify equipment concerns, deficiencies, and required repairs and promptly communicate them to the appropriate leader.

  • Follow established procedures for equipment that is unsafe, unavailable, or requires service.

  • Respond to Shell fleet breakdowns as required and coordinate with the appropriate internal or external support contacts.

  • Respond to facility breakdowns, including HVAC leaks, water leaks, plumbing issues, electrical concerns, and other urgent operational disruptions.

  • Take immediate steps within the scope of the role to reduce safety risks, property damage, service interruptions, or further equipment deterioration.

  • Escalate emergency issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor, vendor, contractor, or maintenance support team.

  • Provide clear status updates, document actions taken, and identify follow-up requirements.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate company vehicles when required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Previous experience in janitorial services, facility maintenance, building maintenance, groundskeeping, GSE support, or a related operational environment.

  • Experience working in aviation, industrial, maintenance, or service settings.

  • Experience using maintenance, inspection, or work-order tracking systems.

Required knowledge and skills:

  • Ability to work independently, organize daily tasks, and adjust priorities when operational needs change.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to facility presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards.

  • Ability to identify, document, and communicate maintenance and equipment concerns.

  • Ability to safely use cleaning materials, equipment, and basic tools required for assigned work.

  • Ability to complete inspections and maintain accurate electronic or written records.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers, team members, vendors, and contractors.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to use systems such as EBIS or other inspection and maintenance applications.
