Full-Time Permanent

Position Summary

Do you enjoy figuring out how systems can work better, solve complex problems, and turn technology into practical solutions?

ASEBP is looking for an HR Systems Analyst to help us get the most out of our HR technology. In this role, you’ll be ASEBP’s primary technical resource for UKG, Our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other HR related technologies, taking a lead role in how our HRIS and related technologies are configured, maintained, supported, and continuously improved.

You’ll work closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Business Technology, leaders, employees, and external vendors to solve system challenges, improve processes, support reporting and data integrity, and identify opportunities to make our technology work better for the people who use it.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the UKG HRIS platform, including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, performance, time tracking, learning, document management, and employee records.
  • Administer and support other HR technologies and applications as required, including system configuration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into system solutions, including configuration changes, reporting, testing, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Manage quarterly system releases, including reviewing release notes, assessing business impacts, coordinating testing, and overseeing implementation to maintain system stability and alignment with business requirements.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and work with internal partners and vendors to develop and implement solutions.
  • Maintain the integrity of HR and payroll data and develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational and organizational needs.
  • Maintain and support integrations between HR systems and internal and external applications.
  • Provide HRIS support and technical guidance to Human Resources, Payroll, leaders, and employees.
  • Develop system documentation, procedures, training materials, and user resources, and deliver training as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate work, and optimize the use of existing and emerging system capabilities.
  • Lead or participate in HR technology projects, system implementations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary education in human resources, business, information systems, technology, or a related discipline.
  • Five to 10 years of related experience in HR systems, technology, or a related environment.
  • Experience with HR/payroll systems and cloud-based SaaS applications. UKG and business process transformation experience are considered assets.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as UKG, HRIP, CPHR, business analysis, project management, change management, or data analytics/reporting, are considered assets.

A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Your Abilities

  • Experience supporting HR and payroll processes and technologies, which may include payroll, workforce management, recruitment, learning, performance management, or other talent-related systems.
  • Experience working with reporting, data analysis, system integrations, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Progressive experience administering, configuring, supporting, or optimizing HRIS or other enterprise business systems.
  • Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, system updates, releases, and implementation of new functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system and process issues.
  • Strong understanding of HR technology and the relationship between systems, data, and business processes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and carry out system releases and vendor updates, including impact assessment, regression testing, change documentation, stakeholder communication, and post-release validation, ensuring minimal disruptions to HR and Payroll operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
