This role prepares and organizes legal materials, maintains records and systems, and keeps matters moving day to day — freeing the Legal Manager to focus on strategy, negotiation, and matters requiring a lawyer's judgment. • Conduct legal and factual research and prepare summaries and supporting materials.
  • Manage construction lien documentation, deadline tracking, and filing requirements under the direction of the Legal Manager.
  • Maintain corporate records, minute books, entity filings, insurance documentation, and the contract management system.
  • Coordinate with external counsel, opposing parties, and internal teams to gather documents and track action items.
  • Maintain organized files, manage matter calendars, and monitor key dates and deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation of litigation, arbitration, and adjudication materials.
Qualifications
  • Law Clerk diploma or equivalent; ILCO membership or certification an asset.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of law clerk experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or corporate law.
  • Familiarity with construction lien and corporate filing processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and document management ability.
