ABOUT THE LUNG HEALTH FOUNDATION

Imagine a future where people living with lung cancer have a fighting chance, where no one loses a loved one to asthma, where people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) live their lives to the fullest, where older adults don’t lose their independence in life, and where future generations don’t suffer the debilitating effects of lung disease. The Lung Health Foundation (LHF) is committed to making this future a reality. And this new future starts now.

The Lung Health Foundation’s mission is to improve the lung health of Canadians, and we will achieve this through:

● Groundbreaking research;

● Policy and practice change;

● Urgently needed programs and support; and

● Public education around lung health issues.

And at the heart of it all? Helping those who have been impacted by lung disease.

The Lead coordinates delivery, supports specialized analysis and interpretation of health data, develops and applies evaluation frameworks, maintains relationships with researchers, clinicians, and partners, and supervises interns and volunteers supporting the team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced, collaborative professional who can translate plans into coordinated action, apply sound research and evaluation methods, guide the work of others, and use evidence to improve programs and outcomes for people living with lung disease.

  • Facilitate working groups and committees, including agendas, materials, decisions, and action tracking

Program Data & Evaluation Support

  • Build and implement practical data collection processes, measures, and tools across programs
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and analysis-ready health and program datasets, with appropriate data-quality checks and documentation
  • Support specialized quantitative and qualitative analysis of health data and interpret findings in collaboration with internal and external subject-matter experts
  • Develop and apply logic models, theories of change, indicators, evaluation questions, and other evaluation frameworks appropriate to program objectives
