Our collaborative culture brings together passionate food lovers, sustainability champions, and tech innovators who are reshaping the future of food delivery.

Who You Are

  • Team-Focused Leader: Supports, coaches, and motivates team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Self-Starter & Accountable: Takes ownership of maintenance activities from planning through completion, demonstrates initiative, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Strong Communicator: Communicates clearly and professionally with maintenance team members, production teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.

  • Adaptable & Solution-Oriented: Comfortable working in a changing environment, responding to shifting priorities, and finding practical solutions to operational challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to drive high performance, accountability, and technical excellence.

  • Plan, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and reduce unplanned breakdowns.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities—including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory—using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and leverage data to enhance maintenance strategies.

  • Conduct regular inspections of all facility systems—including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural—to proactively identify issues and ensure efficient, safe operation.

  • Support the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and systems, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth integration.

  • Assign, coordinate, and follow up on both routine and non-routine equipment maintenance tasks, such as equipment lubrication, conveyor tuning, motor repairs, and production machinery upkeep.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve facility equipment issues, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical faults, and other critical systems, often under time-sensitive conditions.

  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services and repairs, ensuring quality and timely execution.
Enforce and maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations by conducting audits, promoting best practices, and addressing hazards proactively.

What We Are Looking For

This hands-on leader brings a strong foundation in technical maintenance along with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. They thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are deeply committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. This role is central to ensuring our facility and equipment run reliably, efficiently, and safely every day.

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical trade. A Red Seal trade certification is considered a strong asset.

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing or food processing industry is strongly preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, facility infrastructure, and building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration, and fire protection systems.

  • Proven experience leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs while effectively managing reactive maintenance activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.

  • Experience coordinating contractors, service providers, and capital or facility improvement projects.

  • Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and asset tracking.

  • Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, confined space, working at heights, and food safety standards such as GMPs and HACCP.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support when required.

Work Conditions:
