About Hugel Aesthetics

Founded in 2001, Hugel is a South Korea–based global leader in medical aesthetics, specializing in the development and commercialization of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid fillers, skin boosters, threads, and biocosmetics. Over the past two decades, Hugel has built a strong global footprint, with commercial presence in approximately 70 countries and operations across nine international subsidiaries, including Hugel Canada.

Leveraging strong global momentum, Hugel Aesthetics was formed as the Company’s dedicated North American business unit, established to lead commercialization in the United States, Canada and Australia. Backed by Hugel’s global scale and expertise, Hugel Aesthetics is a well-resourced, growth-oriented organization focused on expanding access to Letybo and establishing a strong, long-term presence in medical aesthetics.

Company Culture

We are rebuilding our Canadian organization, creating a culture that is intentionally different from traditional, highly layered companies. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape not only the business, but the way we work, lead, and grow together.

Our culture is rooted in high ownership, collaboration, and the belief that every voice matters. We value people who bring ideas, take initiative, and want a true seat at the table. In this environment, individuals are empowered to make an impact, move with agility, and help build what comes next.

Above all, we are deeply customer focused. We are committed to earning trust, building long-term partnerships, and delivering meaningful value through science, transparency, and integrity.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced medical aesthetics Account Manager to join our Canadian sales team as we expand our Alberta territory to include this new role. This field-based role is in territory five days a week and is responsible for driving revenue growth, market development, and long-term client relationships within the assigned territory of Letybo® and other medical aesthetic products.

You will call on medical aesthetic health care professionals who are qualified to perform medical aesthetic procedures, such as injectables and other topical aesthetic solutions. These include physicians, including specialists (such as dermatologists and plastic surgeons) and family medicine doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, other licensed allied health care professionals with the regulated scope.

This role is a field-based, home-based in territory. You must live centrally within the territory, not on its outer edge, so you can cover all accounts efficiently.

If you thrive in a dynamic, customer-centric environment and have a strong background in B2B sales with a technical, scientific, or medical focus, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve and exceed territory sales targets across Hugel’s portfolio, including Letybo® and our other aesthetic products.
  • Develop and execute a business plan tailored to the assigned territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, onboarding, driving product adoption, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Analyze regional market data and trends to inform go-to-market sales strategies.

Account & Client Management

  • Build strong, strategic relationships with medical aesthetic health care professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, clinics, key accounts, and KOLs across the assigned territory.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring top-tier support and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess needs, track performance, and enhance loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company goals and maximize customer value.
  • Deliver product training to health care professionals and clinic staff, consistent with the approved product monograph where applicable (for drug products) and using company-approved materials for all other products.

Territory & Operational Excellence

  • Profile and segment the territory to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Develop detailed account plans and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage routing and scheduling to optimize account coverage and customer interaction.
  • Enter all customer calls and sales activity in the CRM accurately and on time, and report territory expenses and market feedback.

Customer Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and product or service issues.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Medical Affairs) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in account events, workshops, and industry networking to build brand awareness and loyalty.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) in science or business; additional training in healthcare or aesthetics is an asset.
  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience (required), ideally selling technical or science-based products calling on health care professionals, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, or nurses.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering client satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Language: in Québec, fluency in French and English (written and oral) is required. Outside Québec, fluency in English (written and oral) is required and French is an asset. Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is a plus in any territory.

Preferred

  • Medical sales experience, especially in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or plastic surgery, is an asset.
  • Experience with organizing and coordinating regional and local events & conferences.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement tools (Salesforce CRM, Mobile Locker)
  • Interest and appreciation for Korean aesthetics and K-beauty philosophy

How You Work

  • Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
  • A true team player with experience working in a collaborative sales team environment, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and adapt to a wide range of personalities.
  • High integrity and a strong commitment to respecting corporate compliance policies and industry regulations.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and resilience in the face of challenges; adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Organized, self-motivated, with ability to manage administrative work (logging sales calls, emailing follow-ups, submitting expenses, etc)
  • Ownership mentality with a high level of accountability.

Other

  • Field-based role: In territory five days a week, with travel approximately 80% of the time. Evening and occasional weekend work is required for client meetings, events, conferences and training.
  • Valid driver’s license and a vehicle is required: a reliable, late-model four-door vehicle that presents a professional image when visiting clients.

Compensation

The most likely base pay range for this full-time, permanent position is $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
