Municipal Implementation Consultant Posting Closing: November 15,2026

Ready to Take Your Municipal Experience in a New Direction?

MUNIvers is looking for someone with municipal experience who is ready to take the next step into consulting and software implementation. You’ll work with municipalities across Canada to improve business processes, implement practical solutions, and enhance municipal service delivery.

If you understand how municipalities operate, enjoy solving problems, and are interested in using technology to improve the way work gets done, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Municipal Implementation Consultant, you will work alongside experienced consultants and gradually take ownership of functional areas, implementation activities and customer support responsibilities .

This is a customer-facing, hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, solving problems and helping people use technology to improve their business processes.

This is an opportunity to build your consulting and technology skills while applying your knowledge of municipal operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with municipal clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Support solution configuration and implementation activities.
  • Assist with data migration, testing, training, and go-live preparation.
  • Document business requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across implementation, product, and technical teams.
  • Build positive relationships with municipal clients and support their success.
  • Develop your consulting, software implementation, and problem-solving skills.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of municipal operations, a customer-focused mindset, and an interest in developing a career in consulting.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is an asset:

  • Municipal finance, property taxation, assessment, utility billing, or revenue collection.
  • Municipal administration, customer service, cash receipting, or land and property management.
  • Municipal software, ERP systems, business processes, or data management.
  • Business analysis, process improvement, training, or project support.
  • Salesforce experience is an asset, not a requirement.
  • You should be comfortable working with clients, asking questions, learning new concepts, and translating business needs into practical solutions.

Why Join MUNIvers?

  • Work with municipalities across Canada and make a meaningful impact on local communities.
  • Turn your municipal experience into a consulting career.
  • Learn new technologies and develop software implementation skills.
  • Work alongside a collaborative team of municipal and technology professionals.
  • Help improve the systems and processes municipalities rely on every day.
