Job description

Part-Time Office Administrator
Toronto, ON - downtown | temporary-to-potential permanent

Are you organized, personable and someone who loves keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Part-Time Office Administrator to join a busy, growing tech startup in downtown Toronto. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a consistent, long-term part-time position, with the potential to become permanent.

The Details

  • Location: Downtown Toronto, on-site

  • Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday

  • Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (12 hours per week, potential for a bit more as needed)

  • Pay: $18–$19/hour

  • Employment: Temporary with potential to become permanent

  • Target start: immediate

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an important role in keeping the office organized, welcoming and running smoothly. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and responding to general emails

  • Coordinating with vendors and service providers

  • Supporting day-to-day office operations

  • Providing general administrative assistance to the team

  • Helping maintain an organized and professional office environment

  • Welcoming visitors and being a friendly point of contact

  • Jumping in to support other office-related needs as they arise

What We’re Looking For
The right person will bring a positive, can-do attitude and genuinely enjoy being part of a busy team.
You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous administrative or office experience is an asset, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply

  • Hospitality, reception or other customer-facing experience is considered a strong asset

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach

  • Reliability and attention to detail

  • Initiative and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn and grow

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving startup environment

Why Consider This Opportunity?
If you’re looking for a long-standing part-time role rather than simply a short-term assignment, this could be a great fit. You’ll join a dynamic and growing team where attitude, initiative and personality are valued just as much as experience. If you’re organized, approachable and the kind of person who sees something that needs doing and takes care of it, we’d love to hear from you!
