Role and Facility Information

Interior Health (IH) is hiring internationally educated physiotherapists (IEPTs) who are in process of pursuing license or holding licence to practice in the province of British Columbia (B.C.), and want to join one of our rehabilitation teams!

Have you completed the credentialling assessment requirements with the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)? Have you successfully passed a Canadian Physiotherapy Exam (CPTE) or registered for an upcoming CPTE?

At Interior Health (IH), international educated physical therapists are employed in diverse practice environments that range from large urban centres to rural settings. Come join our team and see why we’re one of B.C’s Top Employers!

IEPTs have opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team environment, primary care networks, and across the healthcare continuum. You will have opportunity to identify your preferences for a position and a geographical southern interior location during the recruitment process.

Supporting our Employees is Key
The rehabilitation departments and primary care networks at IH are dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to clients. We create and maintain environments that support internationally educated physiotherapists in providing safe, ethical, and quality healthcare. Our leadership team is committed to welcoming new employees, and we foster a sense of belonging and integration through various support channels.

Allied Health Transition to Practice Mentorship Program
IH’s Allied Health Transition to Practice Mentorship Program is designed to support and guide IEPTs as they embark on their careers with us. It is our commitment to fostering growth, skill development, and excellence in Allied Health practices. New Entrants are provided opportunity to build knowledge, confidence and competence as they transition into careers within IH.

Discover Your New Backyard
Nestled in the scenic southern interior of B.C., our communities seamlessly blend the serenity of nature with vibrant urban amenities. Residents enjoy a year-round outdoor paradise amid stunning landscapes, complemented by a lively arts scene, a focus on well-being, and a strong sense of community spirit.

About IH
IH is committed to achieving a culturally diverse and inclusive workforce that is representative of the communities we serve, and where you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work. Well-being and work-life balance are promoted within the IH team, and our commitment to environmental sustainability supports our primary goal of increasing the health and well-being of everybody in the Interior Health region from our employees to the population we serve.

Relocation Assistance and Recruitment Incentive
Generous relocation assistance is available for eligible positions. Applicable positions may qualify for up to $20,000 as a recruitment incentive. Please inquire with your application.

Interior Health is a public healthcare sector qualifying employer. When you are a HealthMatch BC IEPT bursary recipient, IH can support your return of service commitment.

With excellent healthcare benefits, competitive compensation, employee wellness program and commitment to a people-centred culture, work-life balance and diversity, equity and inclusion are important to us as it is to you.
