Job description

This Physiotherapy job position is unique as it offers a wide range of experiences across our various clinics in Calgary, AB. You will gain exposure to many different clinicians, disciplines, and models of care that you might not get in a stationary role. It is a flexible job that you can adapt around other positions you may have and make work for you! As a coverage team member, you will have access to our Clinician Development Program, where you will receive mentorship from experienced clinicians in the company based on your areas of interest. This position also puts you first in line for new opportunities within our group.

Momentum Health is committed to empowering patients through the delivery of collaborative healthcare. We guide Albertans through evidence-informed Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, Physiatry, Nutrition Therapy, and Sport Medicine. With strong community relationships and a reputation for delivering patient-centered, guided access to one-on-one care, our company is ever-growing.

This is an opportunity to jump into our culture! Our ground-up approach allows us to build programs and opportunities around each clinician’s interests through our VTO process. Management will help you develop individualized goals based on how you would like to grow and practice, and give you access to meaningful mentorship tailored to you. We are dedicated to being innovative and evidence-informed, striving to be truly multidisciplinary and collaborative. Most importantly, we value FUN, whether it be through our individual clinic events, our Halloween costume competition, or our annual Christmas party! Work should be a place you enjoy being part of, and we work hard to ensure each clinic is just that—fun!

A Culture Built on Five Core Values

Momentum Health operates by five core values: simplicity, independence, compassion, communication, and fun. In practice, that means an administrative team that has streamlined patient intake so clinicians can focus on providing care, and clinicians who are empowered to implement the treatments they feel will help each patient most. Staff regularly volunteer at community events, and an open-door policy keeps communication flowing between clinic teams and management. The fun value shows up in the small things, too, from clinic decorating contests to the annual staff events that bring the nine-clinic group together outside of work hours. As a multidisciplinary practice spanning physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, kinesiology, athletic therapy, and physiatry, Momentum Health gives clinicians a front-row seat to how different disciplines work together on a single patient’s care plan.

The Evidence Sport and Spine medical model implements the latest research to provide patients with a multidisciplinary approach to musculoskeletal pain management. Be part of a team of highly trained advanced practice physiotherapists, pain physicians, and physiatrists, passionate about providing the highest standard in evidence-based care.

Our multidisciplinary clinic has multiple private rooms and a dedicated gym area. We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Calgary and are always working on new partnerships. The clinic develops and runs evidence-based programs such as our Urgent Back Pain Clinic, Concussion Clinic and Clinical Assessment Unit. Our team of Physiotherapists, Physiatrists, Physicians and Nurse Practitioner collaborate in further learning and social events.

Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Momentum Health.
