  • Content & Audience Strategy: Oversee editorial direction and ensure that content strategies are data-driven, audience-focused, and aligned with the long-term vision. Track market trends and competitor performance to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Team Development & Culture: Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance. Mentor brand leaders, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze brand performance, track progress, and drive strategic adjustments. Generate comprehensive reports to update Valnet’s senior leadership on portfolio status, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Develop New Ventures and investment opportunities: Identify and explore opportunities for new projects, initiatives, and ventures within the entertainment sector that can complement or expand the current portfolio. Create business cases, assess feasibility, and lead the development of these ventures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-15 years in roles such as General Manager, Portfolio Manager, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Private Equity, Operations Management or Investment Banking.

  • Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively, with a deep understanding of P&L management, corporate strategy, and revenue optimization.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and managing teams, fostering a competitive and collaborative work environment. Must be capable of making tough decisions and driving results under pressure.

  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends, measure brand performance, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
