Job description

Zafin is an AI platform company helping regulated institutions modernize how critical work is designed, governed, and delivered. Our technology enables organizations to move faster while maintaining the governance, accountability, and control required in highly regulated environments.

Our portfolio includes Zafin AIOS, an agent orchestration platform for governed AI work; the Zafin Banking Platform, which helps banks modernize product, pricing, offers, billing, loyalty, and relationship management; and Zafin IO, an integration platform that connects data, systems, and workflows across complex enterprise environments.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Zafin partners with leading financial institutions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. As AI transforms the future of financial services, we're building the platforms that help regulated organizations adopt AI responsibly and at scale.

What is the Opportunity?

The Pre-Sales Consultant role is a client-facing role responsible for helping organizations understand where AI can address meaningful business challenges and how Zafin’s AI Operating System (AIOS) can be applied to create business value.

The role provides solutions consulting directly to clients to understand their priorities, explore relevant AI use cases and translate business needs into practical solution approaches. This includes leading and supporting discovery conversations, workshops, client briefings and solution discussions that connect AIOS capabilities to business outcomes.

Working closely with Sales and the broader AIOS organization, the Solutions Consultant combines business understanding, AI knowledge, solution thinking and storytelling to help clients understand how AI, AI agents and automation can be applied within their organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Work directly with clients to understand business priorities, operating challenges and opportunities for AI.
  • Provide solutions consulting by leading and supporting discovery sessions, workshops and client working sessions.
  • Identify and shape AI use cases, workflows, agent opportunities and automations aligned to client needs and business outcomes.
  • Translate business problems into clear and practical AIOS solution approaches.
  • Develop business value narratives that connect AIOS capabilities to client priorities and expected outcomes.
  • Deliver client briefings, presentations, solution walkthroughs and demonstrations tailored to the audience and opportunity.
  • Facilitate discussions with business and technology stakeholders to help clients understand how AI can be applied within their organization.
  • Lead solutions consulting activities and partner closely with Sales to support client conversations, opportunity development and solution positioning.
  • Apply commercial awareness to understand client priorities, decision-making processes and the broader opportunity context.
  • Collaborate with AIOS Product, Architecture, Engineering and Delivery teams to develop solutions that are practical and aligned to AIOS capabilities.
  • Participate in and lead defined solution validation activities and proofs of value where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to a trusted advisory relationship.
  • Bring client and market perspectives into AIOS solution discussions.
  • Contribute to reusable use-case assets, presentations, playbooks and other materials that strengthen the AIOS consulting approach.
  • Share feedback and lessons from client engagements with the broader AIOS organization.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must have:

  • 4+ years of experience in solution consulting, technology consulting, pre-sales, business transformation or another client-facing technology role.
  • Experience providing solutions consulting through client engagements, workshops and solution discussions.
  • Strong ability to understand business problems and translate them into practical technology and AI opportunities.
  • Experience working with business and technology stakeholders in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation and emerging enterprise AI capabilities.
  • Ability to identify and shape relevant AI use cases and connect them to business value.
  • Strong business storytelling skills and the ability to communicate technology concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of enterprise buying and decision-making processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Architecture, Engineering and Delivery teams.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively on more complex client opportunities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in an evolving technology environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with agentic AI, AI automation or enterprise AI initiatives.
  • Experience working with AI platforms, enterprise software or workflow technologies.
  • Experience supporting or leading client workshops, demonstrations, solution validation or proofs of value.
  • Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Experience working across different industries, business functions or use cases.
