Job description

Caseware combines over 35 years of industry expertise with AI-powered technology to transform how audit and accounting professionals work. Serving organizations across 130 countries, we bring intelligent automation directly into audit and financial reporting workflows—helping professionals reduce manual work, navigate complexity, and focus on informed decisions. Join our global team and help build technology that strengthens trust in financial information.

As Product Manager for the Domain Platform, you sit at the intersection of audit practice and technology. You will be a key contributor to the product strategy and execution for our cloud-based assurance workflow capabilities - platform features and tools that power financial audit engagements and are leveraged by Caseware's global solutions.

What makes this role unique is the balance it demands: understanding of audit methodology on one side, and proven product management craft on the other. You strive to understand how auditors work, and you translate that expertise into platform decisions that keep Caseware's solutions relevant, compliant, and ahead of market developments.

This role sits at the intersection of audit practice and technology at a pivotal moment. Caseware sees AI not as an add-on, but as the future foundation of audit – integral to how auditors work, how engagements are run, and how our platform evolves. You will help shape what AI-driven audit looks like in practice, working closely with global product and engineering teams to define and prioritize AI capabilities that are grounded in real audit methodology.

❗ This is a full-time permanent position

❗ This is a new vacancy

📍 Location:

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office, located at 351 King St E , Toronto, ON.

What you will be doing:

    Assurance Subject Matter Expertise:

Serve as a key internal subject matter expert on assurance workflows and financial audit methodology — for product, engineering, sales, and partner teams.

Engage with global partners and key customers at a professional, peer level — understanding their workflows, challenges, and evolving expectations.

Ensure that platform features are developed to enable and support compliant solutions.

Bring credible audit practice perspective into product decisions, helping teams bridge the gap between what auditors say they want and what they actually need.

AI & the Future of Audit:

Actively engage with AI tools in your own daily work – Caseware expects and enables this across the entire team.

Contribute your expertise to the development of AI-driven product capabilities, help define what AI-assisted audit should look like, what makes sense methodologically, and where AI creates real value for auditors.

Stay current on how AI is reshaping audit workflows, regulatory expectations, and the profession as a whole – and bring that perspective into product decisions.

Product Strategy & Ownership:

Own the product roadmap, collaborate with other PMs to ensure key pain points/solutions are understood and prioritized.

Define and prioritize requirements based on customer feedback, and market trends.

Coordinate cross-functional release readiness with platform, consulting, support, and partner-facing teams

Act as a primary product contact for global partners, translating their needs into actionable platform improvements.

Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Support, and Consulting to channel customer insights and escalation feedback into the roadmap.

Communicate product decisions, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to a diverse set of stakeholders across geographies

What you will bring:

3–5 years of product management experience

Meaningful hands-on experience in financial audit or assurance — you understand audit workflows from the inside and can engage with auditors at a peer level.

Strong ability to translate domain expertise and customer feedback into clear, prioritized product requirements.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in a global environment.

Openness and genuine curiosity about AI — you actively engage with AI tools and see them as part of how modern product work gets done.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial engagements (e.g., ISA, GAAS, PCAOB).

Experience with Caseware's audit or engagement management software.

Exposure to platform thinking — building capabilities that are consumed by downstream partners or product teams rather than end users directly.

Experience in a global or multi-market product environment

What you can expect:

Real ownership over a globally impactful platform — you will see the direct effects of your decisions in how partners and customers run audit engagements.

Close collaboration with experienced global product and engineering teams.

The opportunity to shape the future of audit technology at a pivotal moment — AI is a core strategic investment at Caseware, not a feature on top of existing products.

Active use of and access to modern AI tools in your daily work — both an expectation and something Caseware actively enables.

A product culture that values audit expertise and domain depth alongside product management craft

Salary range:

The salary range for this position would be between CAD$113,000 and CAD$127,000, depending on experience level.

The successful candidate will also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, equity participation, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, disability coverage, company matching retirement savings and employee assistance programs.

What's in it for you:

Shape what’s next with AI: Help transform audit and accounting through AI-powered technology. Explore new ways to bring AI into our own workflows, rethink how work gets done, and turn ideas into meaningful improvements for our teams and customers.

Make an impact that matters: Contribute to solutions that help professionals navigate complexity, make informed decisions, and strengthen trust in financial information around the world.

Bring your voice. Expand your perspective: Collaborate with a diverse global team where your ideas are valued, knowledge is shared, and different perspectives lead to better outcomes.

Build a career that grows with you: Develop your skills, take on new challenges, and explore career opportunities as our business and technology evolve.

Thrive at work and beyond: Enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, recognition programs, and performance bonuses, alongside flexible work options, remote opportunities, and generous time off.

Many Voices, One Team:

We’re committed to building teams as diverse as our customers through equitable and inclusive hiring. We welcome candidates of all backgrounds. If you need accommodations or have questions at any stage of the application or interview process, contact our People Operations team at [email protected].

Background Check:

All successful candidates will undergo background screening, which may include identity verification, criminal record checks, and/or reference checks, as appropriate to the role and location and in accordance with applicable law.

All employees are expected to apply security best practices and work within secure handling guidelines to perform assigned responsibilities when accessing data and business information.
