Job description

Every team has someone who keeps everything running on time. If that's you, this role was built for you. You'll run a paid community of real players who test, play and review our products and our partners' products. It's live, it's working, and it needs a full-time owner, so the person who built it can go build the next thing.

About Betstamp Ventures

One team. Four high-growth businesses. More than 2 million people using what we build.

Betstamp Ventures spans iGaming technology, market data and odds pricing, trading and market making, and acquisition and media. We price 200+ sportsbooks, operate a portfolio of consumer apps and run our own media company.

It started with Betstamp, the free odds comparison and bet tracking app that professional bettors built in 2020 because the market didn't offer sharp enough tools. It's earned 200,000+ downloads and a 4.9-star rating, and the pricing behind it now runs across the industry. Today the same team also runs our own iGaming brands and the media and partnerships business that brings players to them, all Canadian-owned and operated from our King Street West HQ in Toronto.

Small by design. One team runs all four businesses, so there's a lot of ground per person, and you're trusted with real scope early.

What You'll Own

One of the growth programs behind our consumer brands, day to day. You'll make sure every member has a great experience, every payment lands on time and every number adds up. You'll report to the Senior Manager of our organic growth programs and work beside them every day.

  • Run the community (≈ 45%): take new members from applied to active, run the regular sessions that keep them engaged and moving through the program, and be the friendly, reliable person they hear from

  • Keep operations tight (≈ 35%): make sure everyone gets paid accurately and on time, reconcile our numbers against our partners' numbers, keep offers and links current, and flag anything that doesn't add up

  • Make it better (≈ 20%): turn what the community produces into something we can reuse, automate the repetitive parts, document how the program runs, and find where people drop off and fix it

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: you've learned the program from the person who built it, and you're running the regular sessions alongside them

  • First 90 days: you own the program day to day: onboarding, sessions, payments and reconciliation, all on time

  • First 180 days: you've automated the repetitive parts, documented how it all runs, and fixed at least one place where members drop off

What It's Like Here

Small team, one office on King Street West, the leadership team at the next desk. Decisions happen in a conversation, usually the same day, and everyone here owns something.

It's a close team, and we work at keeping it that way: monthly socials, watch parties for the big games, an office fantasy league, and a floor where people talk to each other instead of messaging across it.

We're AI-first in how we work: if a tool makes your job better, you'll have it. And the people who joined in early roles here are now running bigger things. That's the plan for you too.

Who We Hire

We hire people who treat their work like it's theirs. If you've run a club, an event or a side project, or can't help owning the details, you'll recognize how this place works.

You'll Thrive Here If You…

  • Have 1–3 years in operations, program or community coordination, customer success, events, or any role where you ran a repeatable process and were accountable for it (co-ops and internships count)

  • Are the organized one: you keep the list, close every loop, and people rely on you for it

  • Are comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, and have a good eye for when something doesn't add up

  • Pick up new tools quickly and would rather automate a task than do it twice

  • Communicate clearly and warmly; you'll be the voice of the program to a community of people who count on it

  • Like collaborating closely with a small team and having a say in how things get done

  • Can work in office at 370 King St W, with flexibility (streetcar stop outside, 10 minutes from Union Station)

  • Are curious about iGaming and betting. You don't need to be a player or a sports fan; you need to be comfortable in the industry

Nice To Haves (Not Deal-Breakers)

  • You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and have built something with them, even something small

  • Experience with a community, affiliate or loyalty program

  • Familiarity with automation platforms (Airtable, n8n, make or similar)

  • Basic content or SEO familiarity

What We Offer

  • Real ownership: a live program that matters to the business, and it's yours to run once you're up to speed

  • Growth on a timeline: your scope grows as fast as you deliver

  • Coaching: you'll be trained by the person who built the program, with direct feedback and support from senior leadership

How We Hire

  1. Quick video intro: four short questions, recorded on your own time

  2. Intro call: meet the team in a 30-minute video call

  3. Case interview: a short practical brief (provided), talked through in a 45-minute video call

  4. Final interview: meet the team leads in the office, take a tour and ask anything (1 hour)

  5. Offer
