Aplin is partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the mining sector to recruit a Project Administrator / Document Coordinator for its Saskatoon office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized administrative professional who enjoys keeping information, documentation, and people organized in a busy environment.
You don’t necessarily need to come from a formal document control background. We’re looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with documents, systems, and multiple priorities. Experience within mining, construction, engineering, or another project-based environment would certainly be an asset.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working from the Saskatoon office, you’ll provide administrative and document coordination support to project and internal teams, including:

  • Organize, maintain and file project and business documentation
  • Ensure documents are accurate, current and stored appropriately
  • Assist with document tracking, version control and distribution
  • Coordinate information and documentation between internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders
  • Maintain document registers, spreadsheets, logs and tracking tools
  • Format, proofread and complete quality checks on reports, correspondence and other documentation
  • Support the preparation and distribution of project materials
  • Assist teams with SharePoint and other document-management processes
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems and records
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and information requests
  • Track outstanding documentation and follow up with appropriate individuals
  • Provide general administrative and project coordination support as required

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of administrative, project coordination, document control, or similar experience
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Confidence managing a high volume of documents and information
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with SharePoint, Aconex, or another document-management system would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A proactive approach—you notice what’s missing and follow through to get it completed
  • Experience within mining, construction, engineering, or a project-based environment would be helpful but is not necessarily required

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • This is a chance to join a professional, collaborative team within Saskatchewan’s growing mining sector while working right here in Saskatoon.
  • You’ll gain exposure to major projects and work alongside experienced professionals while bringing your administrative and organizational strengths to a role where they will genuinely be valued.
  • The initial term is approximately six months, with strong potential for the opportunity to extend or potentially become permanent.

If you’re an experienced administrator who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys keeping all the moving pieces on track, we’d love to hear from you.
