We are seeking a highly accomplished Project & Change Management Consultant for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier project delivery, business transformation, and organizational change management capacity, specializing in leading end-to-end software implementations and adoption strategies.

As a Project & Change Management Consultant, you will bridge the gap between business operations, technical engineering squads, external vendors, and executive leadership. Operating in Toronto, you will lead full-lifecycle project execution—governing scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and issue resolution—while embedding robust change management frameworks, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, and user training. This position demands a PMP-certified delivery authority with proven change management expertise who can align technology implementations with organizational readiness and ensure sustainable user adoption.

Location: Toronto, ON

Contract Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for 6-month extension)

Advantages
Integrated Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery combining structured project governance with comprehensive organizational change management.

Enterprise Transformation Scope: Drive large-scale software onboarding, data migrations, system integrations, and business process re-engineering.

Executive Visibility: Steer project committees, deliver strategic briefings, and influence decision-making across executive leadership.

Modern Collaboration Stack: Leverage Microsoft 365 enterprise tools, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing project scope, integrated schedules, resource allocations, and financial budgets.

Direct multidisciplinary business, technical, and vendor teams through application onboarding, system integration, and deployment lifecycles.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops to analyze business processes, map current- and future-state workflows, and validate detailed functional requirements.

Design and execute organizational change management strategies, including change impact assessments, readiness plans, and user adoption roadmaps.

Establish and maintain integrated stakeholder engagement and communications plans to facilitate seamless business transitions.

Coordinate solution evaluations, testing phases, data migrations, end-user training programs, and operational rollouts.

Manage risk registers, issue logs, and formal change requests, securing governance approvals and escalating critical items to steering committees.

Develop cutover strategies, go-live readiness recommendations, hypercare support plans, and operational handover documentation for steady-state sustainment.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including roadmaps, release plans, requirements traceability matrices, and decision records.

Prepare executive briefings, milestone progress reports, workshop summaries, and strategic recommendations for sponsors and leadership.

Qualifications
Core Project & Change Management Credentials
Certifications: Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is considered a strong asset.

Education: Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical work experience).

Enterprise Delivery Tenure: Extensive experience leading enterprise software implementations and business transformations through the full project lifecycle.

Organizational Change Expertise: Demonstrated experience applying structured change management methodologies, tools, and behavioral adoption techniques during large-scale transformations.

Delivery Frameworks: Hands-on experience applying both Agile and structured project delivery methodologies.

Technical & Productivity Tools: Practical experience using Microsoft 365 collaboration and planning tools, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Project.

Preferred Technical Assets & Capabilities
Data Migration & Integrations: Demonstrated experience overseeing data migration, systems integration, and user acceptance testing work streams.

Platform Modernization: Experience implementing and driving adoption for cloud-based applications or enterprise records management platforms is an asset.

Soft Skills & Delivery Attributes
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Superior facilitation, relationship management, and presentation skills to tailor messaging, build consensus, and influence project decisions.

Analytical Problem Solving: Strong analytical, planning, and conflict-resolution capabilities to manage competing priorities and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
