Job description

McKesson is an impact-driven, Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. We are known for delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. Here, we focus on the health, happiness, and well-being of you and those we serve – we care.

About the Role

The Project Management Enablement Sr. Specialist supports high-impact transformation work across HR Services, Workforce Experience, product and service teams. You will bring structure to cross-functional initiatives, map and improve processes, translate data into practical recommendations, and help accelerate technology, automation and AI-enabled ways of working. Working within the HR Services strategy function, you will partner with leaders across HR, Finance, Analytics, Technology and Operations to prepare work for decisions and keep priority initiatives moving. This is an individual contributor role for someone who combines strong project delivery and analytical skills with the curiosity to challenge long-standing processes and design better solutions. You'll be the orchestrator behind the scenes, harmonizing strategy, execution, and collaboration. Think of yourself as the catalyst that ensures our organization delivers with excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of cross-functional HR Services transformation projects, establishing clear milestones, dependencies, risks and decision points.
  • Design end-to-end process maps, document current workflows and develop practical recommendations to simplify, standardize or scale services.
  • Analyze operational, workforce and project data to identify trends, explain business implications and produce recommendations for quarterly business reviews and leadership decisions.
  • Partner with Analytics to develop and improve Power BI dashboards, reporting views and measures of success, translating business needs into clear requirements.
  • Connect HR Services stakeholders with Technology, product and automation partners to support AI-enabled improvements, implementation planning and adoption.
  • Coordinate with Finance to provide visibility into financial information, risks and trade-offs without owning day-to-day budget administration.
  • Prepare concise project updates, decision materials and recommendations that create accountability and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum Education & Typical Experience or Equivalent Combination: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related field and typically 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in project or program delivery, business operations, strategy, transformation, process improvement, analytics or a related function.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives using project plans, milestones, dependency tracking, risk management and stakeholder routines.
  • Experience documenting end-to-end processes and developing recommendations to improve workflows, service delivery or operating models.
  • Experience analyzing business or operational data and producing decision-ready insights and recommendations for leaders.
  • Experience working with reporting or data-visualization tools, including Power BI or a comparable platform.
  • Experience partnering across business functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Analytics, Product or Operations in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in consulting, HR transformation, shared services, product operations, service delivery or enterprise enablement.
  • Experience supporting AI, automation, technology adoption, quarterly business reviews or global process-scaling initiatives.
  • Power BI dashboard development, formal project management training or a relevant project, analytics, Agile or product-management certification.
