Job description

ADAPTOVATE is a management consulting firm helping organisations stay ahead of change by building the capability to adapt, innovate and lead in dynamic markets.

We work with clients around the world to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful transformation, increasingly using AI and emerging technologies to create practical business value.

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in helping clients solve complex business problems, develop and implement practical AI-enabled solutions, and drive the transformation required to make those solutions successful.

You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, lead project workstreams and teams, and help move engagements from problem definition through analysis, solution design, testing, implementation and adoption.

This is not a role where the work stops at strategy or recommendations. We are looking for someone who combines strong consulting capability, a builder mindset, business judgement and client leadership.

You will also contribute to growing ADAPTOVATE by building trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and supporting proposals, pitches and new business opportunities.

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with client leaders to understand strategic priorities, diagnose complex business problems and identify opportunities for meaningful business improvement, including through AI.
  • Structure ambiguous problems, lead analysis and translate insights into clear recommendations, practical solutions and actions.
  • Design, prototype, build and test AI-enabled solutions, workflows and process improvements, working closely with client and technical teams.
  • Translate business needs into practical AI use cases, solution concepts, implementation roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
  • Guide teams through testing, iteration and implementation, using client and user feedback to improve solutions.
  • Help clients move successful solutions beyond prototypes into adoption, scaling and sustainable business transformation.
  • Lead major consulting workstreams or smaller engagements, managing scope, deliverables, milestones, risks, quality and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate workshops, executive discussions and working sessions to align stakeholders, solve problems and move decisions forward.
  • Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly, translating options and trade-offs into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Work across business and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical, commercially relevant and appropriate for the client's environment.
  • Coach and develop Consultants and Associates, providing direction, feedback and support throughout engagements.
  • Build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities to expand our impact, and contribute to proposals, pitches and business development activities.
  • Contribute to developing ADAPTOVATE's AI capabilities, consulting methods, offerings and knowledge.

What is ADAPTOVATE looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines strong consulting skills, practical AI and technology experience, a builder mindset and the ability to turn business challenges into measurable outcomes.

You will typically have 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant client-facing delivery experience across areas such as:

  • Technology or digital consulting
  • AI, data or product-related roles with strong business and client exposure
  • Business or technology transformation
  • Management consulting with strong exposure to AI, technology or solution delivery
  • Operating model, process improvement or operational transformation

You should also demonstrate:

  • Strong strategic, analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • The ability to bring clarity and direction to complex and ambiguous business problems
  • A builder mindset with a willingness to develop, test and improve solutions rather than stopping at recommendations
  • Practical experience using AI or technology to solve real business problems
  • The ability to connect AI and emerging technologies to measurable business outcomes
  • Experience leading consulting engagements or major workstreams from problem definition through implementation and adoption
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Confidence facilitating workshops, executive discussions and decision-making sessions
  • The ability to work effectively across both business and technical stakeholders
  • The ability to translate technical ideas and trade-offs into clear business language
  • Strong project leadership, including managing scope, priorities, risks, dependencies and team delivery
  • Experience coaching and developing junior consultants and client teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and an interest in account growth and business development
  • Experience identifying opportunities within existing clients and helping turn them into new work
  • Experience contributing to proposals, pitches, statements of work or commercial discussions
  • Ownership, adaptability and comfort working in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
  • Willingness to travel as required

We are not looking for a pure technologist or a traditional strategy consultant who simply uses AI tools.

We are looking for someone who can understand the business problem, lead the build with the client, move solutions into implementation and drive the transformation around them.

What does ADAPTOVATE offer?

  • Full-time employment contract
  • A generous EVP budget to support personal wellbeing, professional growth, training, or visits to our offices globally
  • Extended healthcare coverage for employees and eligible family members
  • Life insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
  • RRSP with employer contributions
  • A dynamic, professional, global, and diverse work environment
  • A clearly outlined career path tailored to individual aspirations, with a dedicated internal Career Development Advisor to support your growth
  • Hybrid work model
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Opportunities to work with colleagues and clients across Australia, Singapore, the US, Canada and Europe
  • The opportunity to help shape how ADAPTOVATE develops and delivers AI-enabled business transformation for clients

At ADAPTOVATE, Senior Consultants are expected to do more than analyse problems and provide recommendations.

You will help clients understand their challenges, lead the analysis, build and test practical solutions, drive implementation and create lasting transformation.

Understand → Analyse → Build → Test → Implement → Transform.

Join ADAPTOVATE and help clients build practical AI solutions and turn them into real business transformation.
