  • Design biological, physical and chemical, nutrient-removal, tertiary-treatment, and solids-processing systems that respond to clients’ operational and regulatory needs.
  • Apply and review process models using tools such as GPS-X, BioWin, SUMO, and Visual Hydraulics to assess alternatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize treatment performance.

  • Lead technical workshops and clearly communicate recommendations to clients, operators, vendors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Guide permitting, contract administration, commissioning, and construction-support activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strengthen our technical community by providing QA/QC, mentoring junior and intermediate engineers, leading proposals, and supporting trusted client relationships.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline; a master’s or doctoral degree is considered an asset.

  • A Professional Engineer designation and the ability to apply sound engineering judgment to complex technical assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in process design, modelling, optimization, equipment evaluation, and equipment selection.
  • Strong knowledge of process controls, instrumentation, plant operations, commissioning, permitting, contract administration, and construction-support services.
  • Proven ability to independently lead technical work, complex proposals, and multidisciplinary project teams in a consulting environment.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, client communication, proposal-development, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel periodically to client sites and project locations.
