Improve test coverage, automation reliability, and quality reporting.
Digital Banking & Credit Union Testing
Validate member-facing journeys, including login, MFA, account balances, transfers, bill payments, Interac e-Transfer, mobile cheque deposit and account servicing.
Test commercial banking capabilities such as delegated access, entitlements, approvals and business payments.
Validate integrations between digital banking platforms, core banking systems, payment services, lending applications and CRM systems.
Support data migration testing, reconciliation and regression testing during platform replacements.
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness and production validation.
Collaborate with client business teams to ensure test scenarios reflect real banking operations and member needs.
Engineering & Delivery
Work within Agile delivery teams and contribute to sprint planning, refinement and acceptance criteria.
Integrate quality engineering practices into development workflows.
Support performance, security, and accessibility testing in collaboration with specialists.
Provide clear quality metrics, defect reporting, and release-readiness assessments.
Help establish automated quality gates for AI-assisted software development.
Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on test automation development.
Experience testing financial services, banking, credit union or other transaction-intensive applications.
Strong proficiency with at least one modern test automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
Programming or scripting experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, or Python.
Strong API testing skills using tools such as Postman, REST Assured or equivalent.
Experience testing REST APIs, authentication, authorization and system integrations.
Experience with SQL, data validation, and troubleshooting integration issues.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, defect management and risk-based testing.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with client stakeholders.
Highly Desirable Experience
Direct experience with Canadian credit unions or digital banking transformation programs.
Testing digital banking platforms such as VeriPark, Backbase, Central 1 Forge/MemberDirect, Intellect Design, Temenos, Lumin or eBankIT.
Integration testing with core banking systems, especially Fiserv DNA or CGI RFS360.
Experience with Canadian payment capabilities, including Interac e-Transfer, bill payments, and payment processing.
Knowledge of mortgage lending, loan origination, commercial banking or CRM workflows.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and . NET-based enterprise environments.
Mobile application testing across iOS and Android.

Accessibility testing aligned with WCAG standards.
Experience testing AI-generated code or implementing automated quality controls in AI-assisted development environments.
