This individual will establish technical direction, guide solution design and development, promote platform best practices, and help clients maximize the long-term value of their ServiceNow investment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, capabilities, scalability, security, and best practices.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business objectives and technical requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solution architectures.
  • Develop solution architecture, technical designs, integration strategies, data models, and implementation approaches that align with client enterprise architecture and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring solutions are technically sound, maintainable, secure, scalable, and aligned with established design standards.
  • Evaluate client requirements and recommend appropriate ServiceNow capabilities, modules, configurations, integrations, and technical approaches while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
  • Define and promote ServiceNow platform governance, architecture standards, reusable design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Lead technical design sessions, architecture workshops, solution reviews, and other client-facing technical discussions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers, consultants, and other delivery team members, including distributed and remote resources.
  • Review solution designs and technical implementations to identify architectural risks, performance considerations, security concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and provide guidance for integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, and other integration technologies.
  • Collaborate with client enterprise architects, security teams, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure ServiceNow solutions integrate effectively within the broader technology environment.
  • Support technical discovery, solutioning, estimates, proposals, statements of work, demonstrations, and other business development activities.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow platform capabilities, releases, products, and recommended practices and help strengthen the firm's overall ServiceNow technical capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to connect ServiceNow platform capabilities to broader organizational challenges and measurable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including significant experience designing and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a ServiceNow Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Developer, or similar technical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration, development, integrations, data architecture, security, and implementation best practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing solutions and providing technical leadership across one or more ServiceNow products such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC/IRM, or other relevant ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Experience translating complex business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution designs and technical architectures.
  • Experience designing integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and balance business requirements, platform capabilities, scalability, security, maintainability, and technical debt.
  • Experience leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, design reviews, and solutioning sessions with client stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical direction to developers, consultants, and other ServiceNow practitioners.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
  • Strong consulting, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience across multiple ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, IRM/GRC, SPM, or other ServiceNow solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform governance, instance strategy, integration architecture, data architecture, security, performance optimization, and technical debt management.
  • Experience contributing to technical solutioning, estimates, proposals, statements of work, demonstrations, and client pursuits.
