Key Responsibilities:

- Unload, receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and inventory.

- Coordinate shipping activities and verify outgoing orders meet established quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update information in warehouse management systems.
- Identify, document, and appropriately handle damaged or non-conforming products.
- Keep warehouse and packing areas clean, organized, and safe, including disposing of packaging materials.
- Work closely with customer service, office personnel, and other departments to support timely order processing.
- Help prioritize daily tasks to ensure in-stock orders are prepared for same-day shipment whenever possible.
- Take initiative to support other warehouse activities as needed.

What We're Looking For:

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to getting things right the first time.
- The ability to visually identify small product imperfections and inconsistencies.
- Comfort working with inventory records, quality control procedures, and computer-based systems.
- Sound judgment and the confidence to flag products that do not meet quality expectations.
- A proactive, dependable attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with shipping or inventory software.
- Basic math skills and the ability to think critically when resolving order or packaging issues.
- Good English communication skills, including reading and writing.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Assets and Additional Qualifications:

The following experience would be beneficial but is not required:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and BarTender labeling software.
- Current forklift certification or willingness to complete forklift training.
- Experience with inventory or enterprise systems such as Acumatica or SAP.
- Background working with leather, textiles, upholstery, furniture manufacturing, or other materials where product quality and appearance are important.

How Success Is Measured:

- Customer orders are processed accurately and shipped promptly, with same-day fulfillment for in-stock items whenever possible.
- Inventory records consistently align with physical stock, with a target accuracy rate of 99% or higher.
- Products are thoroughly inspected, helping minimize quality-related returns.
- Incoming materials are received, checked, and put away in a timely manner.
- Warehouse spaces remain organized, clean, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Communication with internal teams supports smooth and reliable order fulfillment.
- Consistent attendance, accountability, and a willingness to step in where needed contribute to overall team success.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

If you're organized, quality-focused, and enjoy hands-on work, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a team where accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail matter.
