What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Manager, Vendor Governance and Contract Management will oversee both pre-contract and post-contract activities across CIBC’s Technology vendor portfolio. In the pre-contract space, the role will act as the primary liaison between the line of business, vendors, and internal partners, ensuring a standardized contracting process is followed and all required governance activities are completed. In the post-contract space, the role will establish and maintain a robust governance framework for executed agreements, including coordinating joint operational committee meetings with stakeholders and vendors to monitor performance, service delivery, contractual obligations, and risk issues. The position will ensure third-party governance requirements are maintained, records and supporting artifacts are properly managed and archived, and the portfolio remains audit ready through disciplined documentation and evidence management practices.
The role will also deliver reporting and presentations to leadership across both the pre-contract and post-contract lifecycle, providing visibility into pipeline activity, contract governance, risks, compliance status, and opportunities for operational improvement, innovation, and sustainable cost savings.
