Job description

Zafin is an AI platform company helping regulated institutions modernize how critical work is designed, governed, and delivered. Our technology enables organizations to move faster while maintaining the governance, accountability, and control required in highly regulated environments.

Our portfolio includes Zafin AIOS, an agent orchestration platform for governed AI work; the Zafin Banking Platform, which helps banks modernize product, pricing, offers, billing, loyalty, and relationship management; and Zafin IO, an integration platform that connects data, systems, and workflows across complex enterprise environments.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Zafin partners with leading financial institutions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. As AI transforms the future of financial services, we're building the platforms that help regulated organizations adopt AI responsibly and at scale.

What’s the Opportunity?

As a Technical Product Manager at Zafin, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of technology products and platform capabilities that power our solutions. Working closely with engineering, architecture, design, and business stakeholders, you will translate customer and business needs into clear product direction and deliver high-impact capabilities that create measurable value on Zafin's AI Operating System (AIOS).

You are equally comfortable discussing customer problems, defining product requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software.

What Will You Do?

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned products or platform capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, design, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, balancing customer value, technical priorities, and business objectives.
  • Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze product performance, usage, and market trends to inform product decisions.
  • Support release planning, feature launches, adoption activities, and ongoing product evolution.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams while driving alignment around priorities and outcomes.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must Haves

  • Experience managing technology products in an Agile software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience defining product requirements, managing backlogs, and prioritizing competing initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations, and business objectives.
  • Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience with AI, automation, workflow, or platform technologies.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
