  • Serving as the “voice” of Design to Cost within tender or project teams

  • Applying Design to Cost tools and methodologies to identify and implement cost-saving measures

  • Calculating and regularly updating the “Cost by Unit in Development” at train and subsystem levels

  • Defining and agreeing on recurring cost targets with project stakeholders

  • Organizing and leading creative brainstorming sessions to identify and validate savings

  • Establishing and monitoring Design to Cost KPIs and deliverables

  • Ensuring alignment with product definitions and fostering effective communication among stakeholders

  • Providing regular updates to project teams on cost stakes and action plans

  • Fluency in English and French

  • Strong technical leadership with an autonomous and proactive mindset

  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

Bilingualism

Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
