Job description

About Us

Intega IT is a growing Managed IT Services provider focused on delivering exceptional IT support, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions to small and mid-sized businesses since 2001. We pride ourselves on building long-term partnerships with our clients by aligning technology with their business goals. Our culture is rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a client-facing role and wants to make a real impact.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and ensuring they get maximum value from our services. You'll work closely with our vCIOs and senior team to learn the IT services business while developing your skills in account management, client retention, and account growth. This role is ideal for someone who's customer-focused, naturally organized, and excited to grow their career in technology services. This role is in office, in Ottawa.

What this actually looks like day-to-day

  • Running quarterly and monthly check-ins with your clients; prepping the agenda, pulling the data, facilitating the conversation, and following through on whatever comes out of it.
  • Spotting accounts that are quietly at risk before they tell you and getting in front of it.
  • Being the connective tissue between clients and the service team; escalating when something needs escalation, advocating for the client internally, and keeping communication clear on both sides.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand accounts; not by selling for the sake of it, but because you understand the client's business and know when something actually fits.
  • Building the kind of client relationships where they call you first, not because they have to, but because they want to.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular check-ins and participate in business reviews alongside our vCIO team

Account Growth & Retention

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and proactively address concerns
  • Manage renewals and contract lifecycle
  • Develop your skills in account growth with mentorship from our senior team

Service Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (Service Desk, Projects, vCIO)
  • Help ensure timely resolution of issues and overall service delivery quality
  • Monitor account health, performance metrics, and SLA adherence

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account plans
  • Track engagement, opportunities, and customer activity
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients and leadership

What You Bring

  • 2 to 4 years of B2B account management or customer success experience. MSP or IT services background is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Genuine warmth and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Comfort with commercial conversations
  • Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn IT services from the ground up
  • Comfort with structured processes, CRM tools, and documentation
  • Confidence to have direct conversations, including difficult ones with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

  • Background in IT, MSP, telecom, or technology services
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud services, or general IT concepts
  • Exposure to B2B sales, account management, or customer success
  • Knowledge of ITIL or service delivery frameworks
  • Microsoft, cybersecurity, or sales certifications

Why should you work here?

  • Strong, People-First Culture
A company culture built on unity, transparency, and trust. You’ll work alongside a supportive leadership team that values open communication, recognizes contributions, and genuinely cares about your success.
  • Competitive, Performance-Based Compensation
Your salary reflects your experience, certifications, and proven success. We reward growth, initiative, and impact, not just tenure.
  • A Workplace You’ll Actually Enjoy Coming To
Our office is conveniently located in Westboro within walking distance to some of the best coffee shops and restaurants, perfect for team lunches, client meetings, or a quick recharge during the day.
  • Comprehensive Health & Group Benefits
We offer shared group and health benefits designed to support your well-being and provide peace of mind for you and your family.
  • Meaningful Team Connections
Regular team-building activities and company events help you build real relationships with your colleagues because work is better when you enjoy the people around you.
  • Be Part of What’s Next
Play a key role in shaping modern workplace solutions and emerging AI offerings. Your ideas won’t just be heard they’ll help define our future direction.
  • A Culture of Collaboration & Growth
We foster an environment where knowledge is shared, ideas are encouraged, and continuous improvement is part of everyday work.
  • Invested in Your Development
Through our Continuing Education Program, we actively support your professional growth with training, certifications, and learning opportunities to help you stay ahead in a fast-moving industry.
  • Make a Real Impact
Your work directly influences our clients’ success. You won’t be a number here; you’ll be a valued contributor whose efforts make a difference.
