· Oversee cash application and unapplied cash resolution, and provide preliminary review and guidance on potential AR write-offs and allowances.

· Provide governance over Concur and the corporate purchasing card program, including escalated expense matters, violation severity, and card suspension decisions.

· Make or guide decisions involving early payments, vendor payment terms, vendor master data processes, complex invoices, reconciliations, and high-risk operational issues.

· Perform final review and approval of Chart of Accounts change requests.

· Lead, coach, and develop 5 direct and 12 indirect reports, including two AP Team Leads and two contractors; make staffing and resource-allocation decisions and address escalated employee matters.

· Build strong relationships with Supply Chain, Treasury, Midstream Finance, Corporate Accounting, Tax, auditors, field administrators, P-Card holders, banks, vendors, and senior leaders.

· Prepare and deliver clear reporting on KPIs, compliance trends, projects, process improvements, and emerging risks.

Project Fusion and Oracle Fusion

Serve as the primary Cash Processing business representative and subject matter lead for Project Fusion. This includes frequent participation in design and implementation activities and accountability for ensuring the future state supports operational, financial, control, and business requirements.

· Represent AP, Expense Management, and AR Cash Receipts requirements in project meetings, workshops, testing, and implementation planning.

· Review and influence Oracle Fusion configuration and future-state process decisions affecting Cash Processing.

· Coordinate business validation, data cleansing, data readiness, implementation activities, and team preparedness.

· Make or coordinate vendor data management decisions and identify impacts to processes and controls.

· Keep the Cash Processing team informed, support adoption, resolve implementation issues, and escalate material risks or decisions.

· People leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach employees, manage performance, and lead operational teams.

· Hands-on JDE experience in a financial processing environment.

· Experience administering, owning, or overseeing SOX controls.

· Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, particularly for complex, unusual, or high-risk matters.

· Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements.

· Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, customer-service, and Microsoft Office skills.

· Ability to manage competing priorities, operational deadlines, and significant transaction volumes.

Preferred

· CPA designation or another relevant accounting accreditation.
