Needs and design
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, managers, LSS Operations Leads and subject matter experts to surface firm-wide and local office training and non-training needs;

- Designing and developing facilitator guides, participant materials, slide decks, storyboards, assessments, e-learning modules, scenarios, quick reference guides, videos and microlearning that are clear, concise, accessible and support practical application on the job;
- Using AI tools such as Copilot to support learning design, content development and productivity.
Delivery and coordination
- Delivering workshops, demo sessions, facilitated conversations and training programs in English and French, in person and virtually, for employees across Canada, and creating opportunities for participant practice, discussion, feedback and applied decision-making;
- Reviewing and validating translations of communications and learning materials between English and French, and maintaining learning documentation in both languages;
- Coordinating schedules, classes and participants with managers, business teams and HR.
Evaluation and improvement
- Collecting and documenting feedback from participants, stakeholders and subject matter experts, and tracking attendance, completion and assessment results, to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements;
- Staying current with trends in adult learning, instructional design, accessibility, virtual facilitation, video development and learning technology.
Projects, technology
- Leading and participating in local and firm-wide projects related to learning, onboarding, process changes or new tools; and
- Maintaining training resources on Workday Learning and supporting learning technology, digital adoption and online learning projects, including testing, implementation support and content updates.
As our ideal candidate, you will distinguish yourself by the following profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, curriculum design, facilitation and content development.
- Solid knowledge of adult education theories and practices.
- Experience developing in-person, virtual and online courses and supporting materials, such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, microlearning, and assessments.
- Strong facilitation skills in person and virtually, with the ability to engage participants and build practical skills using a variety of techniques, including performance support materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with staff, managers and subject matter experts.
- Excellent oral communication and reading comprehension skills in both English and French.
- Excellent writing skills in at least one of English or French, and strong writing skills in the other; with the ability to validate accuracy of translations completed by others
Skills
- Experience with learning technologies, including an LMS (we use Workday Learning), virtual classroom tools (we use Teams), e-learning authoring tools (we use Articulate Rise), video and screen capture tools (we use Camtasia and Snagit), and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with comparable tools is valued, along with a willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving ways of working.
- Strong project management, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
The following are considered assets:

- Experience in a law firm, professional services environment, legal support services or technical software training.
