  • Serve as a key point of contact for client communications, professionally screening calls and responding to inquiries as appropriate.
  • Partner with team members and leadership to identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and administrative efficiency.
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvements that support the firm’s operational excellence and continued growth.

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, clerical accounting, or financial reporting within a professional environment; professional services experience is an asset.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with experience in TaxPrep and iFirm being considered a bonus.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work on time.
  • Collaborative team-player who can work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and take on new challenges with confidence.
  • Availability to work on-site five (5) days per week at McGovern Hurley’s North York office, with overtime during peak periods (February to June) and month-end.
