We're proud to be recognized as a workplace where innovation meets impact. Our numerous accolades - including BC's Top Employers 2025, placement on The Globe and Mail's prestigious Canada's Top Growing Companies list and recognition as one of Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies - reflect our commitment to excellence in both customer experience and employee satisfaction. Our collaborative culture brings together passionate food lovers, sustainability champions, and tech innovators who are reshaping the future of food delivery.

Who You Are

  • Reliable and Dependable: You like to see a job well done and will ensure that things are done the “right” way. You show up for all scheduled shifts on time and ready to work.

  • Responsible: You’re a self-starter with the ability to work independently as needed. Can you be trusted to act without needing strict supervision?

  • Ready to Grow: Fresh Prep is a rapidly growing company and there are many opportunities for advancement. Are you looking to learn and grow with us?

  • Open: You are open to constructive feedback, but aren’t afraid to let your opinions be known. You approach the problem at hand from a strategic and empathetic point of view.

What You'll Be Doing

At Fresh Prep, every day can look a little different! While we are currently in a period of growth, our operations are becoming increasingly streamlined. Your first day may not look exactly like your third or tenth, but throughout your time with us you can expect to take part in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Working your shift in an area maintained at normal room temperature.

  • Sanitizing returned materials used for delivering products to our customers.

  • Sorting returned materials and recycling items received from customers when they are brought back by our delivery drivers.

  • Operating on our automated sanitization line, either at the loading (feed) end or the unloading (removal) end.

  • Following safe work practices and helping maintain a clean, healthy, and food-safe production environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced warehouse environment while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment, with warehouse temperatures maintained between 0°C and 10°C.

  • Able to remain on your feet for 8-hour shifts.

  • Capable of safely lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs (14 kg).

What You Can Expect

  • Hourly Wage: $20.23

  • Schedule: Sunday to Thursday: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

  • An energetic, inclusive workplace where your voice matters and your contributions drive real impact.

  • Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days.

  • Exclusive food perks that let you experience our amazing products.

  • The opportunity to be part of a certified B-Corporation making a tangible difference in sustainable food systems.

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Fresh Prep is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and prohibits discrimination of any kind.
