  • Actively participate in quality assurance with regard to understanding and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the day-to-day on-site operations while upholding high safety standards, EHS policies, and overseeing the maintenance of traffic, environmental compliance, and stormwater control.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with client construction counterparts and a positive project culture.
  • Work in conjunction with the larger project team to deliver the project successfully.
  • Establish strategies to meet contract milestones.
  • Oversee field quality control and assist in the creation of risk mitigation strategies and implement where necessary.
  • Coordinate with public project owners to comply with local agency and environmental issues and requirements.
  • Represent Aecon and the project with the Client Representative in a professional manner and provide updates.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the applicable scope with knowledge of the work that is contracted and agreed upon between Aecon and the client.
  • Identify requests outside of contracted scope and raise any change management issues.
  • Create a detailed look-ahead schedule ensuring proper staffing, materials, and equipment are available when required.
