The Adventure Ahead 🚀

As a Data Analyst within the Product Engineering family, you will hold the keys to transforming raw information into the strategic compass that guides our entire organization. Reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics, your mission is to leverage company-wide data to generate actionable insights and build beautiful visualizations that enhance performance across the business. You will act as a critical collaborator with the Data team, serving as a vital contributor to our core data-driven decision-making processes while ensuring the ultimate accuracy and reliability of our data.

We are looking for an analytical thinker who goes beyond simple request fulfillment—someone who actively interprets data, challenges assumptions, and turns complex datasets into compelling, actionable business insights that drive real-world impact.

The Day-to-Day 📈

  • Decode the Data: Manipulate and analyze various complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and support key business decisions across the company.

  • Architect the Visuals: Design and deploy interactive dashboards using advanced data visualization tools to clearly visualize data and track performance metrics.

  • Bridge the Teams: Partner closely with the Data team and cross-functional teams across the organization to deeply understand business requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.

  • Predict the Future: Conduct advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, correlation analysis, and statistical evaluations to identify upcoming trends and strategic opportunities.

  • Guard the Governance: Implement rigorous data validation and governance processes to maintain the absolute highest standards of data accuracy and reliability.

  • Streamline and Automate: Reverse engineer data requirements to help Data Engineers streamline and automate data collection, processing, and reporting to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Champion Clarity: Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations to improve business strategies, delivering findings through effective verbal and written communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Master the Databases: Query and manage databases with precision, utilizing tools and languages like SQL and Snowflake to extract and manipulate data for analysis.

  • Optimize the Engine: Continuously refine and improve reporting systems and workflows to align seamlessly with evolving business needs

Your Superpowers ⚡

  • The Data Track Record: 3+ years of proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting, showing a passion for solving business problems through data.

  • The Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, Math, Statistics, or a related field.

  • The Tech Toolkit: Strong SQL and Python skills, with a proficiency in data visualization tools and their advanced functionalities (experience with Snowflake is a big plus!).

  • Data Modeling Familiarity: Comfort and working knowledge with basic data modeling concepts (e.g., star schemas, fact vs. dimension tables) to effectively consume and structure data for reporting and analytics.

  • The Math Magician: Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data pivots, predictive modeling, and designing scalable data solutions.

  • The Detail Detective: High attention to detail, a detail-oriented mindset, and an unyielding commitment to maintaining data accuracy and quality.

  • The Proactive Collaborator: A self-motivated, proactive individual with a collaborative mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven by process improvement and innovation.

  • The Master Communicator: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to deliver analytical insights effectively to diverse, cross-functional audiences.
