Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Product Manager (Control Integration Engineering) based in Canada.

The Digital Product Manager will lead the integration and adoption of enterprise security capabilities across a portfolio of business units, making security solutions easier, faster, and more consistent to implement. This role combines product strategy, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership to translate complex security needs into actionable roadmaps and reusable integration solutions. Working closely with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will guide priorities and drive measurable adoption outcomes. The position requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology environments and the ability to influence decisions across teams without direct authority. It offers an opportunity to shape security integration practices at scale while improving operational consistency, efficiency, and risk management.

Accountabilities:

Own the integration product strategy and multi-quarter adoption roadmap for assigned business units, aligning enterprise security priorities with business needs.

  • Prioritize integration investments based on security value, adoption impact, effort, dependencies, and potential for reuse.

  • Define measurable outcomes, milestones, and acceptance criteria with engineering teams, adjusting priorities as business needs and delivery capacity evolve.

  • Lead structured discovery with internal stakeholders across security, engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and architecture to understand technology environments, constraints, and adoption barriers.

  • Identify recurring integration requirements and turn successful implementations into reusable patterns, playbooks, blueprints, and automation.

  • Coordinate with product and control owners to address recurring needs and establish sustainable operational ownership.

  • Define adoption metrics and monitor security posture, coverage, integration timelines, blockers, and implementation gaps across assigned business units.

  • Communicate adoption progress, trends, risks, and opportunities to security and enterprise leadership through evidence-based reporting.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving business units, product security, control owners, engineering, architecture, risk, and enterprise technology teams.

  • Translate strategic priorities into product requirements, epics, and outcome-based backlog criteria while communicating trade-offs and managing dependencies.

  • Ensure success is measured through adoption velocity, coverage, reduced integration friction, pattern reuse, and sustainable operational transitions.

  • Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience in product management, technical product management, security product management, platform product management, or comparable technology leadership roles.

    • Demonstrated experience owning complex technology products, platforms, integrations, or adoption initiatives, including strategy development and roadmap management.

    • Practical cybersecurity experience, including security control frameworks and the integration of cloud and security platforms across diverse technology environments.

    • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to assess integration complexity, challenge assumptions, and translate security and engineering constraints into sound product decisions.

    • Proven experience developing integration strategies, prioritizing complex requirements and dependencies, and measuring adoption outcomes.

    • Experience leading enterprise platform adoption, integration, or transformation initiatives across business, security, product, engineering, and architecture teams.

    • Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead without direct authority.

    • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs in business terms and align stakeholders around shared outcomes.

    • Excellent English communication skills for regular collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across Canada.

    • Nice to have: Experience with cybersecurity controls, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), identity and privileged access management, application and API security, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, endpoint and network security, data protection, security architecture, security platforms, or enterprise infrastructure.

    • Additional assets: Experience with technology integration following mergers and acquisitions, or within subsidiaries and business units; relevant cybersecurity, product management, or cloud certifications.

    • Benefits:

      • Annual salary range of CAD $104,000–$154,000, depending on skills and experience.

      • Fully remote work arrangement and flexible work options.

      • Employee discounts, including 15% off auto and property insurance and savings on other products and services.

      • Home office equipment reimbursement of up to $400.

      • Student loan payment matching for eligible government student loans.

      • Comprehensive retirement savings plan with employer-matched contributions.

      • Annual wellness allowance to support health and well-being.

      • Personal days.

      • Tuition reimbursement.

      • Opportunities to participate in community initiatives and give back.

      • No direct supervisory responsibilities.
