  • Lead strategic vendor and technology partner relationships, ensuring clear accountability for outcomes, quality, value and delivery commitments.
  • Drive portfolio planning and prioritisation, balancing transformation investment with modernisation, technical health, regulatory requirements and operational priorities.
  • Use portfolio, delivery and operational metrics to understand performance, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, growing technical capability, developing future leaders and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide senior leaders with clear visibility into portfolio health, investment requirements, key decisions, risks and outcomes.

What you will bring:

  • Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Significant progressive experience in technology leadership and delivery, including leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing technology strategies and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Strong delivery leadership, with the ability to translate business priorities into technology outcomes and drive complex initiatives through to delivery.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives across applications, data, integration, security and technology infrastructure.
  • Strong business, technical and architectural judgement, with the ability to balance strategic direction with pragmatic delivery decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence across organisational boundaries and solve complex business problems through technology.
  • Experience with portfolio planning, investment prioritisation, financial management and vendor management.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge existing approaches and make pragmatic decisions that balance business outcomes, risk, cost, quality and speed.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to make complex technology topics understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A bias for action, curiosity and critical thinking, with the ability to adapt as business and technology priorities evolve.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

What will set you apart:

  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programmes involving significant business, process and technology change.
  • Experience leading technology within Finance and/or Actuarial environments, or other complex financial-services functions.
