Elementary Grade 4 and 5 teachers - January 2027 start (or earlier)
The WISE Charter School (WISE) is a growing, publicly funded, tuition-free Waldorf school located in Edmonton. Serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 across the greater Edmonton area, WISE offers the Alberta curriculum through Waldorf pedagogy, integrating academics, arts, movement and hands-on learning to nurture the whole child - head, heart and hands, in a screen-free learning environment.
In our Waldorf elementary classrooms, students engage with academic subjects through storytelling, artistic expression, music, movement, practical activities, and outdoor experiences in nature. Lessons are designed to invite curiosity, encourage creative and independent thinking, and develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills. Teachers create a welcoming and supportive classroom community where students experience a sense of belonging, discover their individual strengths, and develop confidence, responsibility, and a love of learning.
