As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, we work alongside customers coast to coast to help ensure people return home safely at the end of every shift.

Are you an experienced fire alarm technician who's ready to take the next step into leadership?
Or perhaps you're already supervising a team but still enjoy being hands-on in the field. If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges and mentoring others, we'd like to hear from you.

Levitt-Safety is looking for an experienced CFAA Fire Alarm Supervisor to lead field operations across Northern Ontario. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a senior technician who enjoys solving complex technical problems while supporting and guiding a team in the field.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality installation, service, commissioning, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial fire alarm systems, while helping develop the next generation of technicians.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support installation, programming, commissioning, and service of fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the field
  • Act as the on-site technical lead for projects and service work
  • Support systems that may include integrated suppression and special hazard applications
  • Verify system functionality, cause-and-effect logic, and overall system performance
  • Supervise, mentor, and support fire alarm technicians in the field
  • Coordinate day-to-day field activities, scheduling, and job execution
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Complete and review service documentation, reports, and deficiency lists

What We’re Looking For

  • CFAA certified
  • 5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, or commissioning
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading technicians (formally or informally)
  • Solid understanding of fire alarm systems and integrated life safety systems
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ULC, NFPA)
  • Experience with special hazards or releasing systems is an asset
  • Comfortable working in industrial and field environments, including travel across Northern Ontario

What’s in it for you?

  • $70,000 - $90,000 annual base salary (based on experience and internal equity)
  • Annual bonus program, RRSP matching and profit-sharing opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits and wellness coverage
  • Ongoing training and technical development
  • Opportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities
  • Work with a supportive team in a hands-on technical leadership role
