  • Manage VINCI Group and SF anti-corruption and risk management processes and supporting procedures; own delegation of authority policy and documentation.
  • Maintain corporate records for all legal entities: annual resolutions, filings, officer/director listings, and compliance with bylaws, group rules and local requirements.

Other Matters

  • HR: Maintain standard employment agreements; review HR policies with a legal lens; advise on escalated HR matters and separations.
  • Insurance: Provide oversight of the global insurance program and annual renewals; coordinate appropriate coverage with Soletanche Freyssinet, executives and operations.
  • Tax: Develop and maintain intercompany agreements supporting transfer pricing; support Finance on escalated tax matters.
  • Accounting: Manage escalated collections requiring legal remedy.
  • Intellectual Property: Support trademark matters and website privacy compliance.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of a Canadian law society.

Experience requirements:

  • Working knowledge of corporate governance and entity maintenance.
  • Cross-border (Canada/US) or international experience.
  • Construction, engineering or industrial services exposure is an asset.

Soft skill requirements:

  • Pragmatic and commercially minded, with the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
  • Sound judgment in assessing legal risk and determining when to engage external counsel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively advise and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in both structured and evolving environments.

Why ConeTec

  • Serve as a trusted legal advisor, providing practical guidance on matters that directly influence business outcomes.
  • Enjoy a diverse in-house practice spanning commercial, corporate, employment, regulatory, and operational legal matters.
  • Partner with leaders across Canada and international operations to support growth and manage risk.
  • Work in a culture where people act with integrity, take ownership, pursue excellent execution, and challenge assumptions to find better solutions.
  • Join an organization with a strong safety culture and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Receive a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and eligibility for the annual bonus program.
