  • Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitute instructors during planned absences.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities recommended by the LINC Program Senior Manager or Manager
  • Be present on-site during your scheduled working hours at one of the TIES locations, Forest Lawn, TIES Whitehorn or TIES Westwinds campus unless you are assigned to teach online
  • Adhere to the same scheduled working hours when teaching online and remain in Calgary to ensure availability and compliance with TIES policies
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized; clean the desk, wipe the Smartboard after use and ensure that students leave their desks neat and tidy before leaving the classroom; recycle unused handouts at the end of the teaching week
  • Display students' work professionally (for Hybrid delivery) on the bulletin board, ensuring that any damaged work is promptly removed and refrain from placing posters on the walls, using the bulletin board for all displays instead
  • Be prepared to teach either Literacy or Stage 1 in both online and hybrid methods of delivery, at any of the three locations, based on client and program needs
  • Act professionally and respectfully towards clients, guest speakers and the LINC Admin/Management team
